Crowne Plaza Opens 250-Room Hotel Minutes from Disneyland Paris

IHG has planted a new flag in the most competitive hotel corridor in France. The Crowne Plaza Paris Marne-la-Vallée opened September 24 in Magny-le-Hongre — 250 rooms and suites set across 2.5 hectares of landscaped grounds, most of them overlooking Golf Paris Val d’Europe, with a complimentary shuttle that puts Disneyland Paris about seven minutes away.

The pitch

Location is the whole argument here, and it’s a strong one. The hotel sits roughly 40 minutes from central Paris but minutes from the parks — the classic split-stay math for families doing Disney plus the city. The free shuttle removes the usual friction (and the usual taxi bill), and the grounds give it a resort feel that the concrete-box airport hotels in the area can’t match.
